Hi, I’m Payton - the maker, designer and daydreamer behind RJ Collective.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m so glad you’re here.
RJ Collective is a small Australian handmade jewellery business based in Victoria, where every piece is thoughtfully created with care, creativity and intention.
My hope is that each design brings a little joy and becomes something you’ll love wearing for years to come.
Where It All Began
Like many people with an endlessly curious mind, I’ve always loved learning new creative skills. I tend to collect hobbies along the way, but jewellery and accessory making felt different.
What started as simply learning a new technique quickly became much more than a hobby. It became a creative outlet - a way to slow down, switch off from the busyness of everyday life and create beautiful, wearable pieces that I genuinely love.
The more I created, the more I realised I wanted to share that joy with others, and that’s how RJ Collective began.
Handmade with Intention
Every piece is handcrafted from my little workspace in Victoria, where beads, wire and ideas somehow manage to take over every available surface.
From whimsical Fairy Rings and colourful Pixie Pop designs to elegant Heirloom pieces and botanical-inspired creations, every collection is made with patience, attention to detail and a genuine love for the creative process.
For me, Handmade with Intention means slowing down and creating something that feels personal. I love knowing that something I’ve made might become part of someone’s favourite outfit, a thoughtful gift, or simply a piece that makes them smile every time they wear it.
No two handmade pieces are ever exactly alike, and I think that’s part of their charm.
Inspired by Everyday Beauty
Inspiration often comes from the little things.
A walk through the garden, delicate flowers, vintage-inspired details, colourful beads, natural gemstones or a little bit of everyday magic can all become the tarting point for a new design.
Many RJ Collective pieces can also be personalised, allowing you to choose beads, charms and finishing touches that make your jewellery feel uniquely yours. I love giving people the opportunity to create something that reflects their own style and story,
Beyond the Bench
When I’m not creating jewellery, you’ll usually find me working in community education, spending time with my family, reading, gardening, looking after my fish tanks or being supervised by my tortoiseshell cat, Tonks.
Life is wonderfully busy, and RJ Collective has became a creative space where I can slow down, create with my hands and share something meaningful with others.
